Pressure on business owner operators and not-for-profits has led to a spike in demand for outsourced services says Prosperity Business Services Director, Siobhan Sellick.
Business owners increasingly are searching for ways to make their systems and processes more efficient and reliable while creating more time for themselves and their teams to concentrate on the core business functions like production, sales and people management.
Prosperity has appointed Jessica Cole to lead their expanded Virtual CFO and Bookkeeping initiative.
Jessica previously worked in Prosperity’s Business Services and Tax team where she implemented strong process improvement initiatives that delivered great outcomes for clients.
Most recently, she has worked with DSI Underground (a large manufacturing business) where she started as a Financial Accountant and then progressed to Commercial Manager. She implemented process improvements in the DSI business that have had international recognition for their outcomes. Additionally, she was recognised as the winner of the 2017 Hunter Manufacturing Rising Star Award.
Jessica said she is looking forward to the challenge of further developing this already established strong platform, covering bookkeeping, payroll and salary packaging which will now be broadened to encompass CFO and system improvement services.
“I am excited to be part of the Prosperity team, a firm that is progressive and innovative in its thinking and approach to clients and its people.” she said.
Prosperity Advisers Director, Siobhan Sellick said, “Jessica’s appointment is part of the firms commitment to having a holistic approach to our business clients. When you’re busy running a business, it’s hard to be across some of the key financial data that could assist with growth, cash flow, improving profitability etc. Also, not every business can afford to hire a CFO. Our virtual CFO services gives those businesses an opportunity to benefit from having an affordable and independent CFO that is part of your team to show you how your business is going, how it could be better and keep you on track to achieve your goals.”
She added, “Jessica’s impressive experience and knowledge will be a great asset for our clients, and will serve to strengthen and broaden our advisory capability in this specialist area. It is also great to see an alumni return to Prosperity, which is a reflection of our people, our clients and our innovative culture.”
